Max Domi’s Instagram reel reveals The Passion

The Passion That Unites Us All is an unofficial refrain about the unique intensity of the Toronto Maple Leafs’ fan base. Max Domi understands this inherently and released an Instagram hype reel that will make you want to run through a wall.

Domi released the video last night, which begins with him sitting on his father Tie’s lap, bouncing him up and down as ‘Go Leafs Go’ chants ring through the Air Canada Centre. Mats Sundin is seated next to the Domi’s and then the video celebrates the Maple Leafs’ rich history juxtaposed with the best of the 2023-24 group, set to The Who’s Baba O’Riley.

“He’s a great fit for the market here,” Ryan Reaves said to The Athletic’s Joshua Kloke. “Take a look at his Instagram, he’s always got something going on. (Domi) has a good personality that you can market easily. He’s such a lovable guy with that smile.”

Auston Matthews and Joseph Woll are among the Maple Leafs who shared or reacted to Domi’s video and we’re sure that it’s likely going around the team group chat this morning.

“When the spotlight is on and the pressure is on, that’s when you can find out if you can play in certain situations,” Domi said to Kloke. “I’ve always been able to find my best hockey at that time.”

Domi has emerged as one of Toronto’s most essential players, dominating on the first line alongside Matthews and Tyler Bertuzzi for the final quarter of the season. He was Leafs’ royalty as a child and he understands perhaps better than anyone how excited Toronto gets about the Maple Leafs in the summer. If Max Domi helps the Maple Leafs win their first Stanley Cup since 1967, it will ring prophetic and his Instagram reel will quietly become another part of the team’s lore.
